Midnight the Purple Tang died from what I believe was depression and lack eating. Ever since the Blue Tang and Sunshine the Yellow tang died she has not eaten.

MY POCILLIPORA SEEMS TO BE RECEDING A LITTLE BIT. I DONT KNOW IF ONE OF THE FISH IS PECKING AT IT OR IF IT IS THE HIGH NITRATES. JUST WAITING AND SEEING.

Still in a battle with Nitrates so added a Biopellet Reactor on 2/23/2017 if that works I might get rid of the Zeovit system its a pain in the but. I will see and keep you informed.

Trying to lower the Nitrates in the tank. So I took out all the carib sea rock rubble. I think in was collecting detritus. We will see what happens. I also added a Brightwell Aquatics xport Bio Brick. I hope this will take the place of the rubble for anaerobic activity.

Something amazing happened to me. I won a contest that Bulk Reef Supply was having. I won a Theiling Roller Mate. I wanted one of these but wasn't going to pay $399.99 for it. Now how to get it attached to my plumbing?

Starting last Friday with the death of my Blue tang and them on Sunday was the death of my Yellow tang due to the Hospital tank and copper treatment was a bad week. I could tell my Purple tang was next do I took them all out of Hospital tank and put them back in the main display. I was only a 5 weeks hopefully the ich was gone. but I just couldn't stand to torture the poor fish anymore. I was like either they die in the QT or live with the ich if there is any in the tank. Midnight the purple tang already seems to be doing better. Hopefully no more deaths

Fish are struggling a little in the hospital tank. I think they miss their home. My Duncan seems to be coming back I was thinking it had died due to the fact that it hadn't come out in a couple of weeks. Just shows you that corals are resilient. on another note my Rose bubble tip has split again. Seems to be happy but I always thought that they only split when stressed. Well we will see I quess.

All Fish removed due to ich. Going to leave the tank empty for 72 days. All fish removed to hospital tank to treat for ich. I have noticed that the tanks phosphate have gone down. But I have noticed that since I have taken out my filefish that the aptasia is coming back. Also I have some green hair alge on my pineapple coral(Favia).
