Tested alkalinity - only 7.3 - added 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to the ATO, should be 2 tsp to raise it to 10 but taking it slowly.

Checked out some anemones today, quite expensive for a tiny piece - $60. I'm looking for something cheaper as this is the first time I'm getting an anemone, so it will not hurt the wallet in case something goes wrong. Also, I have to figure out a way to cover the powerhead.

Setting up my quarantine tank for my next purchase - bicolor blenny which is on sale this week at SUM. I have to look for my purigen for the filtration. I'm planning to do a FW dip. Haven't done this before as the only saltwater fish I have ever kept so far are the clowns.

Bought an emerald crab from Big Als Scarborough, died the next day. Acclimation problem?
I got the largest but I read somewhere that it is best to get the smallest. I'll try again maybe 1 month later.
