Yesterday was nuts. We had a power outage for 6 hours! I ran home, rented a generator and got the tanks running again. I need to pick up a cheap 3500 watt generator the first chance I get.
Everyone made it through the outage with minimum stress. The corals were pissy yesterday but I expect they will be better today.

I setup and started the Phytoplankton growing station in the shed today. I don't have the F2 yet to fertilize with, but I will add it in two days when the package gets here. Hopefully this first batch goes well and I can expand to four bottles very soon.
I will likely need a better air pump to use four bottles. I am also thinking that I need to get a different light so I can place the light along the back wall and the bottles in front of it. This was put together with items laying around the house, so improvements will come.

Starting up the DOS again. Starting slow this time. 5ml Alk and Cal a day. I will test and see how it is going over the next few days.
Side note, I am starting to see polyps on my green branching Monti! I'm hopeful it will make a recovery.

Came home to the Spitfire leptastrea and green branching month knocked over. May need to consider starting to glue things down asap. Seems like the starry blenny is a bit clumsy.

Moved the smoldering lepto, which was losing color a bit, up into a shaded area at the base of one of my bridges.
The GSP go moved into the Euphilla area.
The Gonipora was moved onto a small ledge above the riccordia mushrooms.
The Rics were attached to a larger rock and I am attempting to keep them in place at the base of the bridge.

The Platygyra is almost completely gone and I'm not really sure if there was anything I could have done to save it.
I have a frag of eagle eyes that are on decline as well. I need to dip them and check for pests.
Stopped the DOS completely. I am losing the Platygyra and I think the high ALK and too much flow is to blame. I have moved the coral to a shaded area at the front of the tank with little flow. I am hoping to improve it's chances there.
I will restart the DOS with 5 ml a day once I have the ALK back to 8.5
I will up the dose until it remains level and hopefully my calcium will begin to move correctly by then.
