Traded in my Badis Badis for 6 Endler Guppies (X3 pairs). I wanted a bit more colour and movement in the tank. My Badis were just a bit dull; physically and behaviourally

Changed 12.5 Liters of water

Dosed 1.5 ml of Haloex Dechlorinator
Dosed 1 ml of Blackwater Extract
I'm disappointed that neither of the Badis seem to be male, I was hoping for a pair. They tend to hide much of the time so thinking about trading them in for some Scarlet Badis, then I can maybe add a handful of Barbs or Danios to create some movement?

Pair seem to be settling in well though still squabbling quite a bit. I suspect both are female given their rather tame colouration, but time will tell I guess?? They're loving the live Bloodworm 😀

My Badis pair are feeding well. The larger is still bullying the smaller though I'm not seeing any colouration that allows me to sex them. Still settling in ... Time for a pinch of live Bloodworms

Still cautious but they are taking live Bloodworms, though keeping feeds small until they settle in
Not quite sure the sex of my two Badis. One is markedly bigger than the other at around 5cm vs 3cm. Neither have particularly coloured up yet.
