Wow! I should check my email more frequently because I got Tank of the Week here. Thanks guys! I'll try to remember to keep posting up. :) I don't think I've ever won anything before, but the pro membership for the year is very considerate!

As for tank updates, I just recently installed some supplemental T5's for my Radiums to give the tank a little more pizzazz. :) It's a wiring mess right now, but I'll post pictures as soon as I can. I really love the way the tank looks with almost 750w of power over the top of it ::grunt, grunt::, but alas, I'm actually changing my lighting routine to cause less stress on the corals.

My corals are delivered a large amount of PAR with just the 2 Radiums over them. I added the T5's to lower my Radium photoperiod. I'll only be running the Radiums for 4-5 hours a day, and the T5's before and after the Radiums run.

Just to give a general idea of how much PAR I'm getting.

Radiums - Surface ~600
T5's - Surface ~250

With Radiums (or any MH, really), the light is very intense up high, but drops quickly as you reach the bottom. With T5's, the drop is more subtle. I'm getting 250 at the surface, but near 100 at the bottom with the overdriven T5's. The MH's drop to nearly 100 at the bottom as well. See what I mean? :)

Any way... less talk, more pics. Coming as soon as I can load them up! Oh and hey... Thanks again!

Modified BRS reactors
I had to do my own modifications to these reactors to make things tumble correctly. I'll definitely be upgrading these reactors soon. Daddy no likey.
