Basking area is 96 degrees! Perfect! Removed most of the water to try and improve water quality. Turtles are fat and healthy with no visible signs of shell rot.

Basking area temperature is a little too high 116 degrees. Moving lamps a little higher.
Food around canister filter intake already discussed.
Turtles appear fat and happy.

Setup new canister filter. Moved all biological media into new canister filter.
Too much food found in aquarium. Only feed what they eat per feeding. No “Drive By” feedings. This could impact turtles health. Almost had to drain the aquarium to get all the detritus out.
Doing my best to continue to clean hard water marks.
Old filter is outside, along side the house.

Hard to clean hard water safely with turtles. I may have more time next visit to try and razor it.
Detritus will clear up with continued servicing.
