Seems that running BioPellets, although there are positive effects (lower NO3 and PO4), seems to cause excessive red slime algae. I have taken off the BioPellet reactor and started dosing the following Zeovit products to eradicate the red slime algae...
- 4ml Coral Snow with 4 drops of Zeobak every other day
- 1/3 tsp Zeozym with 4 drops of BioMate every other day
Will dose this until red slime subsides
