Introduction
I've been in the hobby for 8-9 years now and have kept both LPS and SPS successfully. That being said i've also experienced losses for various reasons from pests to poor maintenance and have learnt a lot along the way. I designed this system to maximize aesthetics and the perception of depth and size in the tank while keeping maintenance to a minimum with bi-weekly water changes and an oversized in-line GFO reactor. The ATO system will run for over a week without top up and feedings are controlled by an APEX and AFS module. The system is equipped with an APC battery backup and runs autonomously throughout most of the week, minus a few glass cleanings and a weekly coral feeding.

Filtration
Im using a Synergy Reef Overflow, 1" drains on a BeanAnimal and a 22" sump with an Omega 130 skimmer and 200 micron filter socks. An inline-GFO reactor is also on backup if needed.
Lighting
Im running the same lighting system from my 48x20x20 system. 3 x XR15 Pro Gen3's on an RMS rail.
Flow
Im running 2 x MP40 Quiet Drives mounted on the left and right sides of the back wall. The alternating intensities and flow patterns keeps detritus off the sand and rocks and the corals happy.

Im running ESV additives for calcium, alkalinity and magnesium via a Bubble Magus dosing pump. I've used it since I started running tanks and have had great success with it.
