Tested everything and still have high Nitrite. didn't test anything else. I changed the piping under the tank to work better and hopefully be less drippy. I think it worked well. I wasn't able to glue it all so I need to do that tomorrow. found where all my gross stuff was building in the sump. Siphoned some of it out. hoping that will help my numbers tomorrow. Got to clean up my tank stuff tomorrow.
Still in the middle of my cycle. Things are off the charts and its frustrating waiting for things to calm down. I had hoped that things would be calming down by now. Took the shrimp out and cant find anymore pieces of it. Went to High Tide and talked with Allen. Nice guy. Beautiful store. This is where I will get a majority of my fish and corals. Not sure about his knowledge. We didn't talk much about his background.....time will tell. I Look forward to my first purchase.
Tank seemed to stall on its cycle. I added 50 pounds more of rock dry rock from reefcleaners.com and that could have contributed. I added two more shrimp two days ago. They are still sitting on the bottom whole. Nothing but my ammonia seems to be spiking. Very frustrated as it's been a month already and I've only had a one day spike. Nothing seems to remain stable. I've got the salinity low and the temperature low, like the information stated.....going to do more research on reef central today. Doing a 10 gallon water change right now.
