I will be shutting down my tanks refugium today as i want my sulphur reactor to be my only form of removing nitrate from my system
test the water coming out of my sulphur reactor and it reads:
-nitrite 0ppm
-nitrate 0ppm
-phosphate 0ppm
Now to slowly increase the drip rate to 10L/h over 1 to 2 weeks
to further lower my tank nitrates and phosphate by the looks of it
Sulphur reactor is running a very low ORP so i have had to increase drip rate to increase the ORP to a stead -175mV at a drip rate of 2.1L/h
On the 27 of April i bought 3 SPS frags and 2 Scolymias corals from Age or Aquariums,
The SPS seemed to have transport well, but the two scoly corals didn't they got very stressed and looked like they might peel. I place them in a low light and low flow area in my tank under a ledge. on the 5rd day they where almost healed and now one of them is perfect the other just needs a couple more days.
I am back to using my hanna ALK and Hanna phosphate checkers.
and next week i will go back to my Hanna Calc checker.
Alk dosing has been increased to 85ml a day.
AquaForest Component 1+ dosing has been lowered
AquaForest Component 3+ dosing has been lowered
