Introduction

My intentions where to make the cube a habitat for dwarf seahorses. However, I attended a saltwater aquarium hobby convention right after it cycled. With an empty cycled tank and beautiful cheap clams, I had no choice but to change my plans to a coral only pico. The frags I accumulated over time by lurking forums for cheap buys. The flow used to be air driven until I had epic amounts of oil build up on the surface. This forced me to purchase a power filter. I take a minimalist point of view when it comes to equipment, but I do not regret getting a HOB filter. Less salt creep, less noise, and all together cleaner water. I placed tile on the bottom for the clams. Sand gets dirty too fast, hard to clean, and I would not be able to keep the clean up crew alive. Plus the clams are able to move around easier with a rock to bind their foot to.

Keep a look out for my other tanks in the future! I plan to start culturing macro again, and start another dwarf seahorse set up.
