I started with Current Orbit IC with 1 light and 2 accessory power heads. Definitely liked it, especially the controllable factor but was terrible PAR (in 54 gallon corner tank (24 inches depth). Added 2nd light (very easy to do) and now PAR 120-185 on my rock structure and 65-80 on most of my sand bed at 24 inches deep. The controller is very useful in controlling current and wave action in the tank and fair at controlling lighting spectrum (Blue, White, Red and Green only). I would highly recommend the light for the flexibility and accessorizing but would not recommend it for high PAR level Corals.
Using on a 10 gallon Soft coral tank. Works good so far.
These are a great light for shallow reef tanks. I used this light plus another LED on a deep tank and could barely keep anything thriving yet alone living; however, on my current tank my acan has tripled, frogspawn has grown three heads, and the candy cane has doubled. It's not a bad light for the price you pay, and the control/remote are an added bonus.
I simply love the various options available allowing the user to set the timer to a number of scenarios just like Mother Nature intended. Versatile & appealing to the eye and the large LED screen sure is a plus. Bravo Current :)
