My carbon source of choice. I dose 0.5ml/day in a 60L (15G) water volume. My goal is feeding bacteria, the nitrate reduction has become an undesired side effect, so I bumped my frozen food input to compensate.

Lowers Nitrate but I found it very difficult to maintain level above 0.25 ppm levels just fell to unreadable on Red Sea Pro Test Kit. I prefer to keep my nitrates above 0,25ppm for my corals.
