Added some inhabitants today. 3 Red Legged Hermits, 4 Astarea Snails, Bright pink Montipora, Red Acans and Long Tentacle Flower Pot.

Done the first 5 gallon water change. Hopefully this will get rid of the hair algae that's covering the sand. Think I need to do this weekly in order to completely rid the tank of the algae.

Removed the Gorilla Crab today. Caught him messing with my Ricordia Yuma and plucked him out with some tweezers.

A lot of green algae now. Turbo snails are doing an OK job but don't think they can keep up. Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate 0. Ph 8.1. Salinity 1.025

Need to get a Siphon hose for first water change. Also time to change the filter media that came with the biocube.

Seeing some green algae now and the brown diatoms are starting to disappear.

Also, the rock group on the left there is something burrowing beneath the rocks. Really need to do a fresh water dip of that group of rocks

After reading a bit, discovered a fresh water dip would kill the bacteria on the rock which is not what I want. Seems all the recommendations are for a high salinity dip. Put together a dip with a salinity of > 1.034 (as high as my hydrometer goes) and did not flush out the crab. Did however flush out a few bristle/fire worms and a little white star fish.
