Introduction

Kept a 75g reef for about 10 years until life, family, etc caused me to tear it down. Fast forward 10 years and I'm getting back into the hobby with this tank.

Inspiration & Goals

My Wife, the grand kids and myself recently visited the Atlanta Aquarium. Sitting in front of the reef display my wife and I started talking about setting up another reef. We both seemed to miss our old reef and decided we should give it another go.

We purchased this tank on 10/28/2017 and started the setup on 10/29/2017. We went with a smaller tank with the idea that since it's small and rather affordable it would be cool to scatter these throughout the house with different themes. This first one is in my office and will give me the knowledge, skills and re-learning necessary to setup and care for the others.

This particular tank will be a reef tank. I plan on keeping softies, LPS and some SPS. Anything that goes in this tank must be brightly colored, nothing brown. I know that may be a rather difficult task... but I think it is certainly doable. We also plan to add a few fish, again these must be brightly colored.
