Hello!

I'm a kiwi (New Zealander) living in Melbourne, Australia

I was once an avid freshwater aquarist during my childhood and early teens (late 80's / early 90`s) which also lead to my first job, working at a LFS, but I took a long break of 20 years or so to pursue other interests/vices. In late 2015, I decided to revisit the hobby, but this time to try my hand at marine husbandry.

I'm very glad to have rejoined the hobby but feel that I have outgrown my first tank (250L) so it's time to upgrade to something bigger and better.

My inspiration for this tank is community - to showcase some of the great cohabitation relationships on the reef, such as Cuk + Shrimp, Shrimp + Goby etc.

Goals
- A thriving mixed reef
- Easy cleaning/maintenance
- Utilise automation for stability, convenience and redundancy
