After all these weeks of piecemeal minor jobs, the final step has arrived.

Tank ....
Sad day today. Tank breakdown begins.
Fragged the arco colonies that are still alive. Removed most of my rock and dead acros. Only one bommie is left, which I will tackle another day as space in car boot is limited.
Corals ....
Just back from holidays and the news is sad.
The corals are looking very sad. About 70% of coral have completely TN dead and the remainder have TN from tip down involving most of the colony.
I'll have to plan to break the tank down. Sad.
Corals ....
Received a text from tank minder that Alk has climbed (9 dKH) and corals are looking worse, with more tip TN and recession.
Also, the water is getting cloudy and I think may be due to slime from stress ... not looking good, I'm afraid.
I have increase the pH of the reactor to 6.75-79.
I'm set on a tank reboot once is get home. Need to plan this.
Apex Fusion ....
Probes (Temp, Cond, Pump pH) with weird readings for 2 days. Problem identified and corrected.
Recovery of probe function.
N.B. Cond probe needs to be recalibrated. Ran out of time before holidays.
Troubles ....
Still on holidays. Tank sitter remarked that water level was low and sent this pic.
This explains the funny Apex Fusion probe readings.
Looks like the ELOS Osmolator is playing up again! Should have changed it to the Tunze 8555 before I left.
A quick walk through over the phone (and some texted pics) and problem solved!
LED Lighting ....
Radion intensity reduced to 70% .. remotely via Apex Fusion.
ps I'm still on holidays (GMT +1) ... but still tinkering with my tank. :)
Calcium Rector ....
pH increased to 6.68-72.
Control Centre ....
Spent the better part of the afternoon tidying up this ....... its getting more complicated due to the addition of various apex units.
Got to love automation. :)
Corals ....
The TN has started. Very disappointing to see some old colonies affected.
With all the recent instability, in a way, it was to be expected.
Lets see what is left surviving in the aftermath.
