Today was round 3 of the big cleanup. Topped and re-planted the Cabomba, along with the Cabomba from the 20L; added the Juncus Repens from that tank as well.

The Cabomba had a decent amount of algae (cyano, I think) on it. I'm hoping that the increased plant mass and CO2 will help that situation. Cyano has been my nemesis in this tank for some time.

I am still planning to tear down this tank and start it over, but neither of the other tanks are cycling in a timely manner. I replaced one of the filter floss layers in this canister; I added pieces of the old one to the other tanks to help them cycle.

I spent several hours working on this tank:

- Ran CO2 tubing and installed the diffuser from the 10g QT into this tank.
- Drained a few gallons and used that water to wash out the pre-filters and the canister filter media.
- Scrubbed the glass.
- Removed old broken thermometer.
- Removed the chunk of slate that was installed to hold down the old driftwood that was removed a couple months ago.
- Vacuumed loads of crud from the substrate.
- Planted 10 stems of Green Cabomba and 10 stems of Bacopa caroliniana from the 10g QT.
- Tied the Java ferns to lava rocks.
- Changed 22 gallons of water, with 1g Equilibrium for each gallon (4.5dGH).
- Adjusted the heater down a couple of degrees F.
- Started dosing AF MacroMicro 10ml (soln is 45g AFMM in 500ml).
