Sadly, while moving couches and other things as my flatmate has moved out. We must have spooked the Coral Beauty Angelfish as we later found him, all dried up, on the floor.
Discovered last night the last Peppermint schrimp was being eaten by the second largest anemone. So I let the Banded Coral Schrimp out of the guppy cage I had him in (because he tried to eat the Peppermint schrimp himself).
Put the doors back onto the cabinet for the aquarium on Saturday, and started to work on the sump design that goes inside the aquarium.
The new sump will be a partial "race" design sump, and partial "baffle" design sump.
The display tank glass should be ordered this week, and built over the following fortnight.
The replacement marine aquarium is slowly moving in a good direction.
Went down to my local store and ordered a new tank to replace this thing. Going to be a 50cm square footprint, but about 80cm tall. In a cab with a hood. A sump in the cab.
Had a nasty shock when I woke up this morning. Peeked into my tank to feed the clowns, only to discover that the fluo bubble-tip had decided to crawl around the glass of the tank and stick it's head into the Vortech MP10w powerhead!!!
That seriously can't be good for him...
Turned the powerhead off, and then wandered off to have a shower. Will have to see what the bubble-tip looks like when I get home from work...
The feather duster tube worms have migrated to various other bits of rock all over the aquarium.
Salinity was too high, along with a few other measurements. So I have put in 5ltr of RO water to lower the levels.
Going to stop keeping a record of when I feed the Clowns. It's just a given from now on, they are feed once in the morning and once at night.

oh no! the elegance coral has been knocked over by the Strombus Snail, and has landed on the frogspawn... Poor thing... Now its purple on the side that was laying on the frogspawn.
What the heck! Woke up this morning and discovered that one of the peppermint shrimp has been eaten by the other one!
