With all the cutting of the reef I need to now adjust my alk/cal daily dosing. I had a small alk spike over the last couple days.

Just did my first water change with the HW Marinemix salt. I tested a fresh batch at 1.025 and got 9 dkh, 410 cal and 1230 mag. So glad i made the switch already, im done getting 2k ppm of mag in reef crystals.

Left WP40 stopped working yesterday.. I cleaned them overnight and both are back to normal. I guess cleaning them every 5 months isnt enough.

Lost one of my three cleaner shrimp yesterday, tanked had a bacteria bloom. Changing filter socks twice a day and cleaning skimmer cup every day. Will do a 20% water change tomorrow morning. All coral and fish look healthy with no issues. RIP Shrimp

Mag was 1220 today, I will test my box of salt but i have a feeling its very low in mag. Either way i added 900ml of mag to get it to at least 1300.

Just ordered a few more fish for the quarantine system. Tomorrow ill be picking up a clown tang, naso tang, female lyretail anthias and a male lyrethail anthias.

Did the final treatment for acro eating red bugs. I have yet to see any since the first treatment. Everything is running and looking great at this point.
